Biography
Gerhard Hahn was born in Rehburg in 1946 and studied Law and Social Science in Goettingen and Frankfurt from 1968-1975. His film production company, Gerhard Hahn Filmproduktion GmbH, has developed into a world-class animation studio. He has worked as director and/or producer on the animation for various children"s television programmes, including "Sesamstrasse", "Loewenzahn", and the "Benjamin Bluemchen" and "Hey Biss-Kids!" series, as well as for TV trailers and commercials. Gerhard Hahn directed the animation sequences in the 1990 feature film "Werner Beinhart" and worked on "Asterix in America" as director and executive producer since 1991.
Since then, he has worked on the animantion films "Werner - Das muß kesseln!!!" (1996), "Benjamin Blümchen" (1997), "Das Kamel und der Stern" (1997),"The Happy Horse and the Monster" (1997),"Werner - Volles Rooäää!!!" (1999), and "Die Abrafaxe - Unter schwarzer Flagge" (2001).
