Fynn Henkel was born on October 11 1996. In 2010, he auditioned for the TV series "Tiere bis unters Dach" and was given the role of farmer's son Jonas Grieshaber. He next was cast as the male lead in Xavier Koller's period drama "Die schwarzen Brüder", which premiered at the 2013 Hamburg film Festival and was released in spring 2014. Also in 2014, Henkel appeared in the TV comedy "16 über Nacht!".
Henkel died August 17, 2015, when he visited a music festival in Hungary and was hit by a falling branch during a storm.
