Biography

Elena Radonicich was born in Moncalieri (Italy) on February 5th, 1985. After graduating from school, she studied at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome until 2009. From 2007 on already, she started appearing on stage, in short films and on TV. Her first supporting role in a feature film was in the comedy "Tutti al Mare" ("All at Sea", IT 2011), a year later she was part of the ensemble of the societal comedy film "Workers - Pronti a tutto".

Radonicich's first lead role in a feature film was in the award-winning drama "Tutto parla di te" ("All About You", IT 2012) as a woman who struggles in her new role as a mother. Also in 2012, she appeared in three episodes of the web series "Kubrick - Una Storia Porno" about a group of young filmmakers who end up in the porn industry. In the following years, she starred in lead roles in the family comedy film "Italo Barocco" ("Italo", IT 2014) and in the romantic drama "Banat (Il Viaggio)" ("Banat (The Journey) ", IT 2015), to name a few. On TV, she had a big role in the political series "1992" (IT 2015) and its sequel "1993" (2017). Also in 2017, she was a regular in the crime series "La porta rossa", playing a police officer.

A year later, Elena Radonicich portrayed Enrica "Puny" Rignon, songwriter De André's first wife, in the biopic "Fabrizio De André: Principe libero". German director Ulrich Köhler cast her in a lead role for his end-time drama "In My Room", which premiered at the Cannes film festival in the Un Certain Regard section in 2018.
