Biography
Eike Schmitz, born in 1944, studied Classics and English and American Literature at the universities of Heidelberg and Cambridge and at Cornell University. He taught English and American Literature at Cornell University and at the Technical University of Berlin until 1981. Since then he has been active as an author, director and producer of films and documentaries.

(2008), and "Ketchup in Tuva – A Transsiberian Treasure Hunt" (2009).
