Dileyla Agirman was born in Hildesheim in 2010 and grew up in the Westphalian town of Schloß Holte-Stukenbrock from 2015. At a very young age, she developed a deep passion for Kung Fu, earning her black belt at the age of nine. Her interest in martial arts was somewhat inspired by her love of the movies, especially her favorite actor, Jackie Chan, who was known for his martial arts skills. She later expanded her athletic pursuits to include Thai boxing.
After a primary school teacher predicted that she would one day become an actress, Dileyla Agirman gained her first acting experience through numerous school plays. At the age of eleven, she was put on the list of a children's casting agency, and after auditioning for the film "Sieger sein" ("Winners", 2024), she was promptly cast in the lead role of a Kurdish refugee girl from Syria who must navigate life at a troubled Berlin school. "Sieger sein" was nominated for Best Children's Film at the German Film Awards 2024.
