Biography
Clemens Kuby , born in 1947, is one of Germany"s most successful documentary filmmakers. Fifteen years ago he created a genre that could be called "true fiction" with his narrative and entertaining films. The first part of his trilogy on Tibetan Buddhism, "Ladakh in Harmony with the Spirit", won the German Film Award in 1986, followed by "Living Buddha" - winner of the Bavarian Film Award - in 1994. He shot his last film, "Shamanic Healing" ("Unterwegs in die naechste Dimension", 2001), over a course of 4 years in 14 countries. He is currently working on a TV-series, "The Power of Self Healing", which is to be broadcasted in September 2003.
