Cedric Eich, born on 10 August 2000, first appeared in front of the camera in 2005 for the television production "Zu schön für mich", in which he played the young son of the main character. In the next few years he played numerous other children's roles, including in Jochen Alexander Freydank's Oscar-winning short film "Spielzeugland" ("Toyland", 2007), as an orphan boy in "Suchkind 312" (TV, 2007) with Christine Neubauer and as the son of a widow in the TV lawyer drama "Ein Fall von Liebe" with Francis Fulton Smith.
After a small role in Tom Tykwer's "Drei" ("Three", 2010), he played the leading role of young Hansel in "Hänsel und Gretel - Hexenjäger" ("Hansel & Gretel – Witch Hunters", DE/US 2013). Eich made further, mostly smaller appearances in the TV comedy "Echte Bauern singen besser" (2018), Ralf Huettner's crime thriller "Kühn hat zu tun" (2018, TV) and in the teenage comedy "Freak City" (2020), among others.
In addition to appearing in front of the camera, Eich has also been working as a dubbing voice actor on over 160 titles, including feature films such as "The Tree of Life" (US 2011), "Iron Man 3" (US 2013) and "Shazam" (US 2019), as well as series such as "The Walking Dead" (US 2020-21) and "Lupin" (2021).
In 2021 Cedric Eich began studying at the Hamburg University of Music and Theatre. The following year, Emily Atef cast him in a leading role in the romantic drama "Irgendwann werden wir uns alles erzählen" ("Someday We'll Tell Each Other Everything"), which premiered in competition at the 2023 Berlinale. Also in 2023, Eich appeared on stage at the Hamburg Schauspielhaus in the play "Lord of the Thieves".
