Biography

Cathal Black started as a studio cameraman for Irish Television RTE and then left and worked in various capacities as camera assistant, editor, co-producer and script consultant. His 1995 film "Korea" won the Jury Prize at the Amiens Film Festival and Asta Nielsen Award at the Copenhagen Film Festival as well as coming runner-up for "Best Film" at the Seattle Film Festival. His other films include: "Wheels, Our Boys, Pigs, Korea" (1995), "The Invisible World" (documentary, 1997) and "Love & Rage" (1998).
