Biography
Axel Mueller was born in 1960 in Quedlinburg and studied Design from 1981-1986 in Halle. Since 1986, he has been working as a freelance painter in his own atelier. In 1992, he began instructing Physical Design at the Academy of Art and Design in Halle. Primarily active in theater, he directed and created the set design for "Dido & Aenaes" (1989, 1991) and "Eurydike-Fragment" (1991). His other theater projects include: "Don José - Ein Spiel" (1992), "Die letzte Nacht" (1993), "Schatten am Himmel" (1994), "Stadt - ein Sittengemaelde" (1995), "Irgendwo im Sommer" (1996), "Komm her - lauf weg" (1997), "Trueber Tag - Freies Feld" (1998) and "Suesses Jenseits" (1999). "Arrive" is his film debut.
