Biography
Anke Hentschel was born in 1972 in Ulm. She studied Stage Design at the Academy of Arts in Berlin and Film Directing at the "Konrad Wolf " University of Film & Television, followed by studies at Tel Aviv University. Her films include: "Und Bitte!" (short, 1998), "Blaufahren" (1998), "Der Zauberer" (documentary, 1999), "Im Sommer" (short, 2000), "California Rain" (short, 2001), "40,000 km – Berliner Strassenkinder" (documentary, 2003), "Schauspieler und Regisseur" (2004), "Stella" (short, 2006), and "Unteachable" (2010).
