Biography
Alexander Kunja was born in Berlin in 1969. His career in the world of illusions began at the age of 11 as a pupil of the Russian magician Igor Jedlin, followed by his acting debut as Olli in "Der steinerne Fluss" in 1982. He began studying Theater Studies, Business Management and Journalism at the Free University before moving to the Academy for Television & Film (HFF/M) in Munich in autumn 1990. He made his directorial debut in 1990 with the short "... und mit einem Mal ist es leer!" and followed this with the shorts "Drittes Auge", "Der Knappe des Kreuzes and "Vehlefanz", the commercial "Die Leiden des jungen F.", and the comedy "Schwester Eva-Maria greift ein!. Kiss Me!" is his first feature film.
