Part 1: North and Middle Syria. Aleppo: Panoramic view of the city; cemetery; Bedouin market; street vendors with milk; horse-drawn carriages with German soldiers and baggage riding through the city; German soldiers at the roadside watching the three-horse carriages passing by; German soldiers on two-wheeled ox teams; loading of provisions onto camels; camel caravan moving through the city to the train station.

Part 2: Syrian small towns. Syrian rope workshop; adobe buildings; street life with locals in their traditional costumes. Damascus: panoramic pan ; street life with Arabs and veiled women; bazaars in narrow alleys. Jezreel, Nazareth, Jordan: Takeoff of a German reconnaissance plane (biplane) in Jezreel; aerial shots of the landscapes; flight over Nazareth and the shore of the Sea of Galilee; tracking shot along the built-up shore of the Sea of Galilee; flight over Galilee and Haifa; panoramic pan over the port city of Haifa.

Part 3: Jerusalem. Bazaar hustle and bustle in narrow streets; citadel; street scenes; devout Jews at Wailing Wall; Temple precinct; women fetching water at fountain; Passion and Church of the Holy Sepulchre; hustle and bustle of people with craftsmen and street vendors.

Part 4: In southern Palestine and the lands of the Ammonites and Edomites. Cityscapes of Bethlehem, Jericho, Salt and Amman; ruins from ancient times in Amman; German-Turkish patrol rides past Maan station (Hedjaz Railway) Patrol ride through rocky gorges.

The film was compiled exclusively from BUFA films that no longer survive today. The following BUFA films were used for this purpose: "Überlandflug eines deutschen Flugzeuges in Palästina", "Aleppo in Syrien", "Jerusalem", "Bilder vom See Genezareth", "die Ruinenstadt Amman in Syrien" und "Eine Reise von Bethlehem über Jerusalem nach Petra"
