Biography
Christoph Heller worked as an assistant and line producer, before studying film production at the DFFB Berlin. His directorial debut "Überwachungskamera" (2007) received an honourable mention at the Teddy Awards of the 57th Berlin IFF and was recommended by the Filmbewertungsstelle Wiesbaden. In 2007, Heller began the production of his first feature-length documentary "Mein Vater. Mein Onkel" in the United Arab Emirates. The film depicts the reunion of a 28-year-old German and his Iraqi family. It premiered at the 2009 Zurich Film Festival and was released in German theatres in spring 2010.
