Böder's feature film debut "Nichts geht mehr" (2007) garnered lead actor Jörg Pohl the Actor's Award at the 2008 Max-Ophüls-Preis.
Böder's next feature, the comedy "Die Einsamkeit des Killers vor dem Schuss", premiered at the 2014 Locarno Film Festival. The film's story concerns a contract killer who gets his first assignment just when he has met the woman of his dreams.
