Biography

Silvia Beck was born in 1967 in Bruchsal. From 1987-1989 she trained as a photographer, followed by editorial training. From 1992-1998, she worked as a camera assistant for feature films and documentaries. From 1997-1999 she then studied Cinematography at the National Film School in the UK. Her films include the documentaries: "Oxford Street" (1999), "I am from nowhere" (2001), "Fanfare" (2002), "Carmina Berlina" (2006),"Leninland" (2008), "Veil of the temple" (2009), and "Nyman in progress" (2010).
