Summary
Motherless Morning
The grandmother having died, mother and daughter reunite after years and for the first time talk about the daughter’s early childhood in a weekday home. The GDR made “equal rights” for women possible by establishing weekday homes where children from the age of six weeks until six years were looked after. This chapter of GDR history has never been dealt with. This film is intended to be a beginning.
