Film synopsis: When her husband becomes the CEO of a cosmetics company, Sophie is assigned as an assistant to travelling saleswoman Karin. Karin sees a competitor in the younger Sophie, and fears for her job. But the bitter conflicts between the two woman cease, as they make a fateful discovery. Now they stand united against male domination, and becoming friends, the dream about working together as flight attendants.

"Pilotinnen" was digitized by FILM SHIFT GbR as part of the film heritage funding program "Förderprogramm Filmerbe" (FFE) in 2019.
