Children's festival in Gaggenau, 1914. Procession of girls and women in white dresses; many spectators at the roadside; a boy with a banner; boys in shorts; float with girls; horse-drawn carriage with a sign "Our favorite flower" and a covered wagon; girls and boys in traditional costumes pulling a wagon with a sign "Hotzenwälder". A float with a model of the Munich Frauenkirche with the Munich Kindl on the roof passes by; a float with a model of a half-timbered house passes by; a flower-decorated horse-drawn carriage passes by; a float with the inscription "Black Forest Spinning Room" passes by; several other floats pass by. A young boy on a white horse leads the procession; behind him is a marching band; spectators line the streets and stand in windows. Girls in white with floral arches; girls with flower wreaths and sticks with pretzels on top; boys with the same sticks. The "Football Juniors Gaggenau": a young man with a banner leads the way, followed by some boys in football shirts, followed by a float of a trade association, boys in Allgäu costumes, several smaller floats pass by, including the one with the model of the Munich Frauenkirche. After the parade, spectators gather in the street; men and boys typically wear suits and hats; most women wear elegant hats. Village square: Girls with flower arches march in; in the background is a merry-go-round; the square is decorated with flags (several shots).
