On the sidelines of a parade, police officers are trying to keep the restless crowd under control. "Rückkehr von der Parade" is a sound picture, a short film synchronously accompanied by a record in the cinema. Between 1903 and 1914, well over 1,000 such films were made in German-speaking countries alone.
