What a Man

Summary

Directorial debut of actor Matthias Schweighöfer, who also stars as Alex, a young teacher, who has just been dumped by his girlfriend – seemingly because he isn′t "manly" enough for her. Consequently, Alex begins a personal quest in order to find out what really makes a man a man. He is helped by his best female friend, the chaotic Nele, and his buddy Okke, a loveable macho who gives Alex unique lessons in manliness. But during the course of his absurd training Alex starts to realize that he doesn′t need to be another man, but instead must find a partner willing to accept him for who he really is.
