Children of the Forest

With great dexterity, the children chop at, saw and carve branches and roots to find rockets and monsters. Instead of toys, they just need tools and a little imagination. When there are too many of them who want to determine things, the only thing needed is a ban on sticks – because arguing has to be learned, like making fire in the snow or swimming in the river. A year in the forest kindergarten in Munich’s English Garden, carefully observed and delicately edited.
