Summary
Apparently compiled in retrospect of World War I, the reel contains footage from various phases and theaters of the war. The footage includes artillery in action, advancing infantry, a machine gun position being set up, a cavalry charge, officers at a map table, destroyed buildings and fleeing civilians, Russian prisoners of war, and various columns of marching soldiers. It is unclear who compiled this diverse material, for what purpose, and at what time.
