Summary

Documentary about the everyday life of eight people who are older than one hundred years. Five of them reside in an elderly home, three are still living on their own without much help from others. There's 102-years-old Erna, who is a football expert. Piano player Ruja and avid sportswoman Hella are both 102 as well. Ernst, who is also 102 years old, even made it into the news when he fought off a burglar. While 100-year-old Gerda is still completely self-reliant, Theresia (101) prefers to spend all day in bed. At the age of 103, Anna serenely awaits the end, and coeval Franz is convinced to have answered all important questions of life for himself. What they all share, is a humorous, laid back and good-spirited look on life.
