Summary
First US production of German director Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck, whose 2006 feature film "Das Leben der Anderen" ("The Lives of Others") received an Academy Award. American tourist Frank, an unassuming man, tries to recover from a relationship break-up on a trip through Europe. On board of the train from Paris to Venice, he makes the acquaintance of beautiful and enigmatic Elise, who surprisingly shows interest in him. But their romantic night together has dramatic consequences for Frank, who is suddenly pursued by the police and a gang of Russian killers. His only hope is Elise – who seems to have vanished completely.
