Summary
In this eight and a half hour anthropolical documentary Ulrike Ottinger follows the Soyon Uriyanghai and Darkhad Nomads in northern Mongolia. The director observed the nomads over a longer period of time, studying their way of life, their rituals and their history and shows how their lives have changed in this day and age.
