Summary
Looking for her unknown father, young Susanne Braun travels to Berlin to see solicitor Fuchs, who takes care of her monthly alimony. Fuchs sends her on a misguided quest, and Susanne has to meet many alleged ‘fathers’ before she realizes that her happiness does not depend on the past.
