Small Planets

In times when the world is growing ever closer together through the Internet, there are still places that are so remote or isolated that they exist virtually untouched by the rest of civilization. To find them you often don't have to travel far, they exist in Europe as well as in other parts of the world. The documentary traces these places and the people living in them and deals with the question of what it means to live behind invisible walls and what effects it has on everyday life and the perception of the world.
