Summary
Vain Valdez de Corazón is ruler of the medieval town San Vanidad. He surrounds himself only with young and beautiful people, and bans those who don′t fit his beauty ideal. One day, he meets the ravishing Alyssa, who knows the secret of eternal youth. But when Valdez learns that she turns into an ugly witch every night, he bans her too. Her revenge is devastating: She curses Valdez, who also turns into a beast and is therefore banned from his own city. Repentant, he returns to Alyssa. Now, he is willing to love her unconditionally and thereby frees her from the curse.
