Bjarni has made it: after countless cooking competitions, nights in restaurant kitchens, and months of training, the Icelander has made it to the finals of the world’s most important cooking competition, the Bocuse d'Or. The 29-year-old accepts the fact that the year-long preparations leave him little time for his young son, that he can’t earn any money, and that he even has to run up debts. Only one thing worries him: Is this competition really his final event? Or will his inner voice never rest?
