Summary
Din lives with his family in Beshaw, a small village several hours away from Bangladesh’s big harbor city Chittagong. The village fields are no longer fertile due to flooding, so Din has to go to the big city to make a living and feed his family. Together with his friend Amin, he departs for Chittagong, hoping to find work there as a day laborer. When the two of them try to find some rest in a freight container after a hard day’s work, they make a momentous mistake, one which takes them further away from home than they could ever have dreamed of…
