Mama Told Me Not To Look Into The Sun

Summary

In a solitary house in Italy, the 40-year-old Kamilla lives with her 72-year-old mother Gudrun. Surrounded by vineyards and forests, Kamilla farms the land and takes care of the farm – and looks after Gudrun, who uses wheelchair. While Gudrun critically observes Kamilla’s every movement, Kamilla seems to always suppress her own needs. A tense love-hate relationship seems to bind the two together. Until the fugitive Rocco appears. Kamilla hides the mysterious stranger from the police – against Gudrun’s will. But when Kamilla and Rocco get caught up in a passionate affair, the simmering tensions between mother and daughter boil over and force Kamilla to make a decision.
