Mahler on the Couch

Summer 1910: Plagued by jealousy, composer Gustav Mahler seeks help from Sigmund Freud. His crisis was caused by a love letter he received, but which was meant for his wife Alma. In the letter, architect Walter Gropius, recounts in detail his affair with Alma, leaving Mahler on the brink of total despair. What does this young bloke know of him and his beloved Alma, who were meant to be bound together eternally by music? The personal crisis results in a writer′s block, since Mahler can′t finish any composition. Now, Freud is his only hope, and eventually, the session with the famous analyst leads to unexpected revelations.
