Keinohrhase und Zweiohrküken

Summary

Keinohrhase – a bunny lacking the prominent ears – lives with fellow hares in the woods near a small town. Because of his missing ears, he is often ostracized by the others. Therefore he wishes nothing more than to find a real friend. One day, he finds an egg on his doormat. Keinohrhase learns that only animals with very small ears come from eggs, and he lovingly takes care of his find. When the chick Zweiohrküken finally hatches out, the two immediately become best friends. Keinohrhase is determined to help Zweiohrküken to learn how to fly. But the evil fox has set his sights on the two.
