Summary
Incompatible
A film about the lifelong consequences of juvenile institutionalization in orphanages. About the lack of preparation for life on the outside. About a system that is broken. And about what no one else reports about. When children reach the age of 18, they are released into a world they do not know, a world that is very different from life at an orphanage, a world with which they are often incompatible. A disproportionate number of children in juvenile institutions fail in life, become unemployed and homeless, and commit crimes. For some former orphans, a life in prison seems to be easier than a life in freedom.
