Inhuman

Summary

Said, a young and unexperienced recruit is the last survivor of his unit. The main battles in the region are over and there are only some weapons firing further away. Said is cowering behind a small wall on a rooftop when he suddenly sees a terrible creature scurrying across the opposite rooftop. Said pulls his weapon and tries to target the creature, but fear overcomes him and he flees into a house. The creature follows him and it comes to a fight in which Said gets his weapon knocked out of his hand. He pulls his knife as his last defense and injures the creature so that it goes to the ground. The violence in Said takes over and he chokes and hits the creature several times until it lies lifeless on the ground. After his outburst of violence Said sees a dead rebel in front of him. And suddenly he sees himself reflected in a mirror and realizes that he himself has become a horrible creature.
