Summary
"Human Flow" is a large-scale, epic documentary directed by Ai Weiwei. The film portrays the international crises that gave rise to 60 million refugees today, the refugees' flight from conflict zones towards Europe and other countries, and their eventual settlement, relocation or repatriation. The complex and global nature of today's migration - the largest mass movement of humans since the Second World War - is depicted via cinematic landscape shots, individual narratives and interviews of refugees, and exclusive conversations with politicians, policymakers, NGOs (Non-Governmental Organizations), migration specialists, historians, activists, volunteers and others.
