Summary
Glitter & Dust
"No Fear" is written on Ariyana’s belt. Whoever is afraid, she knows, has no chance. And so, the nine-year-old climbs onto the hump of the mighty bull and tries to stay up while the animal rears wildly. "Rodeo is not for girls", many in Texas say. But it is Ariyana’s great passion – her life. Glitter & Dust portrays four cowgirls looking for their place in a male domain. The documentary explores the world of rodeos, talks about gender roles, life in the southern United States, and the courage to fight for your dreams – and sometimes to give them up.
