Summary
The experimental film "Yellow Rectangle" transforms precisely such a rectangle between the railroad tracksl into a stage, in the warm beams of light of which everyone can find a place. A place to be heard freely. Deliberately inserted scraps of conversation convey an idea of what moves society – because it seems as if everybody is visiting the rectangle. And all of them are caught up in their thoughts, waiting for a train, while they take drag after drag from their cigarettes. Until the cigarette, the conversation and the moment have passed.
