Francis, the velvet-pawed smart-aleck, is new on the block. He soon finds his IQ being called into action when he discovers a cruelly butchered fellow feline whilst out on his first reccy. And so a story of breath-taking suspense begins to unfurl with unbelievable cat-like swiftness: a story of serial murders, religious sects, computer freaks, cats on heat, delusions and fantasies of omniscience ...
