Summary
When Helga Landowsky finds a broken old pitcher in an antique store near the German-Polish border, she wants to have it regardless of the price. But the old lady didn’t reckon with Jakub Lato. The antiques dealer doesn’t want money for his merchandise. The price for the old pitcher is a story. And Helga knows how to tell stories. It is a story from the Second World War, a story about pain and loss. While Helga is telling her story, she and Jakub realize that this old pitcher connects their lives in a wondrous way.
