Summary
Alive and Ticking
17-year-old Eva suffers from Tourette syndrome, or – as she calls it – "hiccups in the brain". She insults strangers with swearwords or verbally harasses people with explicit language. Due to her neurological disorder, she is in constantly pushed away by the "normal" world and has a hard time integrating herself into society. Only the amphibians at the nearby lake seem to understand her – and of course her oddball, but loveable family. When her father looses his job, and the bank threatens to foreclosure the family′s home, it is time for Eva to take action and employ radical means.
