Die Jagd nach der Million

Deutschland 1930/1931 Spielfilm

Summary

The last silent film starring audience favorite Luciano Albertini also became his first sound film. Shortly after the Berlin premiere, the sensational story of a legacy hunter was dubbed for international distribution with orchestral music and sound effects using the Vitaphone process. While the film image has survived almost intact, only an incomplete set of the audio records exists. In the 2018 digital restoration, image and sound were reunited.
