Summary
The Serbian Lawyer
Documentary about lawyer Marko Sladojević, who defends Serbian politician Radovan Radovan Karadžić in his trial before the Den Haag International Criminal Court. Marko Sladojević despises the alleged felonies of his client, in fact, they were the reason he emigrated to the Netherlands ten years prior. Yet as an attorney, he is convinced that every man without exception is entitled to a fair trail and to legal counsel. At the same time, his participation in the trial offers him the chance to confront the history of his people. Nevertheless, the days in court have him not only doubt the ethics of his profession, but also plague his conscience.
