A Day in the Life of a Boy

Summary

We experience an ordinary day in the life of an extraordinary boy: Autistic Daan sees the world very differently than his little sister Millie. Often, he cannot see the forest for the trees - the sounds, smells, impressions, emotions of one day flow into him in unfiltered intensity. That's why he finds it difficult to interact with others and sometimes everything becomes too much for him. Millie becomes more and more aware of her brother's particularities. When Daan accidentally kills Millie's pet bird, she is very upset. However, Daan is also grieving. Will Millie turn against her brother or try to reach out to him despite everything?
