Summary
The Flying Classroom
The students at a boarding school in Bamberg are engaged in a constant feud with the pupils of a local secondary school, which escalates when the local kids capture Rudi Kreuzkamm, son of the boarding school principal. Meanwhile, rehearsals are underway for the approaching graduation ceremony: the play "The Flying Classroom" shall demonstrate how exciting geography lessons would be if they could be conducted with the help of a real airplane. But when the little Uli jumps off the roof of the school in a self-imposed test of courage, the celebration seems to turn into a drama. But class teacher Dr. Johannes Bökh shows understanding for everything: "Justus," the righteous one, as they call him, is a real friend to the students, as is the eremit "non-smoker," who got his nickname because he lives in a discarded non-smoker railroad car. In the end, everything settles down and the students are on a plane to Nairobi for practical lessons.
