Kabale und Liebe

Adaptation of Friedrich Schiller′s classic drama about the tragic love affair of Luise Miller, the daughter of a bourgeois, and nobleman Ferdinand von Walter. Although his tyrannical father wants him to marry his mistress Lady Milford, Ferdinand is unwilling to let go of Luise. But when Ferdinand tells Lady Milford, who truly loves him that he wants to stay with Luise, a complicated intrigue starts to unfold. In the end, jealousy and insurmountable class barriers result in the young lovers′ death.
