Die Bettwurst

In Kiel, secretary Luzi meets the labourer Dietmar from Berlin. They fall in love and as a couple reanimate the conventions they grew up with: they visit a cafe in the countryside and a community garden, show each other their childhood pictures and celebrate Christmas together. However, when criminal friends of Dietmar turn up, their ordered life quickly falls apart: The friends kidnap Luzi in order to force Dietmar to make common cause with them again.
