Das indische Grabmal
The Indian Tomb
Remake of the film with the same title based on Thea von Harbou′s novel. After their daring escape from the jealous maharajah Chandra and the scheming prince Ramigani, maharani Seetha and her German lover Harald are caught again. The final confrontation of the main actors takes place at the palace of Eschnapur: Harald and Seetha – who sacrifices her life for maharajah Chandra – foil Ramigani′s plot. Harald kills Ramigani and he and the maharajah finally reconcile.
