Goebbels und Geduldig
The story of Harry Geduldig and his love for Grete Zipfel, told against the volatile background of the Third Reich ...
1944 and Nazi Minister of Propaganda Joseph Goebbels narrowly escapes an assassination attempt en route to Obersalzberg.
Behind the attack: his rival Heinrich Himmler, also whispered to have Goebbels′ lookalike hidden away in a secret location. He immediately sets out to solve the mystery and, in a remote stronghold, comes face to face with Jewish prisoner Harry Geduldig, his spitting image. Geduldig takes advantage of the mix-up. The real Goebbels is kept prisoner in the fortress, while his double takes over as the leader of the convoy, also managing to rescue his beloved fellow prisoner Grete Zipfel. Although he is cheered by the people at a party rally in Nuremberg, his journey takes him into the lions′ den. Arriving at Obersalzberg, he meets Hitler, as well as his "own" wife Magda. But Harry Geduldig will dare everything to save Grete ...
