Sabine Wolf
Sabine Wolf was born in Villingen on May 25 1971. From 1990 until 1994,
she studied acting at the Hochschule für Musik & Theater in Hamburg.
In 1994, she got her first professional stage role at the Staatstheater
in Mainz. She went on to play at the Landestheater Detmold (1997-98)
and the Stadttheater Heilbronn (2000-2001), where she played Jenny in a
production of Brecht's "Dreigroschenoper", Portia in "The Merchant of
Venice" and Lady Macbeth in "Macbeth". In 2001 and 2002, she also
attended the Lee Strasberg Institute for Acting in New York.
Form the mid-1990s on, Sabine Wolf regularly appeared in short films and
TV productions. She guest-starred in TV series like "Die Wache" (2003),
"Bella Block" (2004) and "SOKO Köln" (2009), and had roles in Markus
Imboden's comedy "Blondine sucht Millionär fürs Leben" (2000) and
Matthias Tiefenbacher's "Der Mann an ihrer Seite" (2008). She had her
first major screen role in the drama "Zwei Mütter", which was released
in 2013: In the film, she plays a lesbian whose romantic relationship is
put to the test by the search for a sperm donor.
